Resumen:
El presente artículo describe la síntesis de dos nuevos ligantes: la 4—Dimetilamino benzilmonoxima y la 4—Dimetilamino benzildioxima derivadas del 4—Dimetilamino benzilo; y su caracterización por métodos instrumentales. De acuerdo a nuestros resultados, la síntesis de la 4—Dimetilamino benzildioxima propuesta por Rense et al (9) no corresponde a este compuesto.

TRIS (DIALKYLDITHIOCARBAMATO) DIAZENIDO(1-) AND HYDRAZIDO(2-) MOLYBDENUM COMPLEXES: SYNTHESIS AND REACTIVITY IN ACID MEDIUM.

Abstract:
A series of new molybdenum complexes have been synthesized, with p-nitrobenzoyldiazenido(1-) and benzoylhydrazido(2-) as ligands, and dialkyldithio-carbamatos as coligands. Reactions of these compounds with aqueous and methanolic HCl were carried out but the attempted separation of the aroyl group was unsuccessful. Only the reaction of 1 and 2 with HCl in methanol gave a product, identified as [Mo{S2CN(C2H5)2}4][MoCl4(OCH3)2]. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectrometry. Single crystals of 2 were obtained and the crystal structure was determined. The Mo atom is heptacoordinated; one diazenido(1-) and three diethyldithiocarbamatos act as ligands. From the latter one sulfur is in trans-position to the diazenido-nitrogen atom and the other five sulfur atoms lie in a plane giving a distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal coordination.
